 Should Ontarians be Forced to get Vaccinated? My opinion.

Ontario residents are encouraged to get the shot!

The Issue

The Ontario government is slowly making it mandatory for all Ontario residents to get double vaccinated, and to me, that's wild 🙈

On August 26th, 2021, the Ford government of Ontario announced plans for a "vaccinated passport" that includes employees of government agencies to get the vaccine. Can you imagine losing your job just because you decided not to get the shot? WACK! I know I'd be very upset if someone took my job because I didn't put a concoction of chemicals into my body, but then again, I get it - we've been in this for too, too long now and I'm over masks. Regardless, in my opinion, I don't think the government should force this mandatory vaccination on people and threaten them with their job, like who do they think they are? This isn't a dictatorship, is it? People shouldn't be forced to get the vaccine because #TheirBodyTheirChoice, and peoples' jobs are more important than a pandemic, no cap.

Look 👀... at the end of the day, I and I alone should decide what goes into my body, not the people I voted into power, you feel me? Well, actually, don't feel me, and that's the point. I don't think the government has the right to force a needle filled with a chemical mixture into my body, and the idea makes me and many other Ontarians very uncomfortable - and I'm saying that as someone who already got the shot! We have human rights to privacy when it comes to our physical person, meaning we shouldn't be forced into changing any kind of our body, and allowing ant-bodies to develop in our bloodstream kinnndddd of qualifies for that, doesn't it? Nuff said.

Secondly, forcing people to get the vaccine and threatening to terminate their employment if they don't is outright WRONG!💀 Right now, the TDSB (Toronto District School Board) is forcing all teachers to get their double vaccine shots with a deadline of November 1st, or they will lose their jobs. Some teachers have done a great job in their profession for 30+ years, some are coaches and mentors that have powerful impacts on their students' lives - so how does not getting a needle shot automatically disqualify them from doing that??? Tell me how that makes sense? Pretty f***** up if you ask me. Some teachers are planning on hiring civil law lawyers to file job action lawsuits against the government for doing this, and it's becoming a hot topic in the news, as it should be, because I believe it's ethically and legally wrong.

In conclusion, I think it's incredibly wrong for our provincial government to force people to get the vaccine. I'm fully vaccinated, it's not even like I'm an anti-vaxxer protesting outside of Ontario hospitals and spreading conspiracy theories, but it's a human rights violation and illegal to force chemicals into peoples' bodies if they don't want them, and to force people to get the vaccine or threaten to take their jobs away.
